Kajaki. British soldiers in Afghanistan stumble upon a minefield, with horrific consequences.

Highly accurate portrayal of a true event which occurred in 2006. I've seen a lot of nasty stuff over the years so I'm reasonably desensitised to graphic depictions of violence, but even I found this film difficult to watch at times. It's worse because you know it actually happened.

I will start with recommending the TV show rectify. This show is a masterpiece. It's a a family drama based on the story of a guy that spent 20 years in death row only to be acquitted by new DNA evidence. Its slow paced but the dialogue, the writing and the cinematography is some of the best I have seen. Up there with true detective in. Quality.

The Blacklist, Criminal helps FBI to catch other criminals
Hannibal, As the movies in series form
Dexter, Murder in the police deparment, kills other criminals.

Spectral, Simple action movie from netflix quite enjoyable. Near-Future soldiers and scientists fight Invisible people.

I liked hte first 20 mins of Spectral , but thought it went a bit down hill after that

Deep water Horizon - about the oil rig disaster in the states , great cast , gripping stuff
