We are in the very early stages of setting up our as yet unnamed virtual air force for DCS World. As such information presented here is subject to revision.

The VAF will be on the mil-sim end of the spectrum where possible making use of study level DCS modules, real life procedures and radio comms. As such we are working on a training programme which we will be testing with anyone who want's to join in. I'll post details of our sessions in this forum. Currently these flights will be in the A10C and UH1 modules and use of Aries Airbourne Radio is mandatory. There will be a post shortly on how to set up Aries.

More information to follow!

I'd be interested in flying the UH-1, A-10, Ka-50, MiG-21 and the F-15, although I acknowledge your stance on the Flaming Cliffs 3 aircraft.

We have decided to keep things simple and call our squadron the Virtual Air Force or VAF. Keeps it nice and international as we will be using a mix of NATO and RAF specific procedures with airframes from east and west.

Also the plan will be to form squadrons for the KA50, UH1, Mig21bis and A10C. Other airframes will probably be used on an ad-hoc basis. I'll update the first post to provide a single source of info soon!
